3D printing delivers experience to blind parents

It is now a few weeks ago that we went on TV with TwentySeven but we remember it as if it was yesterday. It was the first time Henrik met his son Max. Henrik lost his sight several years ago and now, thanks to the latest 3D printing technology development, he could use his tactile sense to meet his son before he is born. Normally, this is a visual experience, as the mother gets her belly scanned, the silhouette of a baby appears on the screen. This time though, the baby' scan was turned into a mathematical model and subsequently into an sculpture; layer by layer. The first encounter between Henrik and Max was very emotional and we feel so proud to have made that possible. See the full video here if you want to know more.
